Why Home Educators are voting for Senator John McCain

Senator John McCain is pro-family, pro-marriage, pro-life and pro-America.  He is committed to protecting our children and preparing them to succeed.  He supports parental choice regarding education and has vowed to place parents and students at the center of the education process.  As home schooling families and patriots, we stand united in purpose:  Senator John McCain for President ‘08!

Senator McCain is committed to reducing federal control over education. John McCain is a traditional conservative leader who believes in a smaller, more accountable government.  He has voted against national education standards and federal testing and has consistently supported increased financial flexibility for parents and greater choices for families.  He opposes Washington bureaucrats and public education unions dictating education policies. Appointing the right judges. Our next president will appoint many federal judges and, most likely, at least one Supreme Court Judge.  We are facing a growing trend of anti-parent bias in the federal courts.  In the Supreme Court, only five of the nine judges could be considered to be strong advocates of parental rights. If we want to continue to enjoy our rights as parents and the freedom to educate our children as we see fit, we must elect a candidate who will nominate judges who understand the role of the Court..
