Harry Reid. Democrat Senator of Nevada. The current Senate Majority Leader of the United States.

He wants everything Obama wants. He wants ObamaCare big time. Is he willing to explain why he wants it?

No. In fact, he’s too chicken-shit to even meet with his own constituents face to face.

The Las Vegas Sun reports:

“A day after holding up a square of Astroturf to denounce the orchestrated attacks on Democratic town hall meetings on health care, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s office said he would be talking with his Nevada constituents this month over the phone lines.”

“Reid’s office is scheduling a telephone town hall meeting for August, opting to avoid the shouting matches and microphone speeches that have erupted at events across the country. The senator expects to reach thousands of Nevadans, including those in the state’s rural expanse.”

“It’s a forum that obviously lets us reach more people, but also provides a more respectful environment that allows all sides to be heard,” said Reid spokesman Jon Summers.”

All sides to be heard? Really??? Are we to believe opponents of ObamaCare will be represented in this “phone forum?”

Sounds like more of that “transparency” we were promised.

2010 can’t come fast enough.

Democrats Refuse To Put The Health Care Bill Online

The health care bill being proposed will NOT be available to the American people on line; The Democrats will only let you see 256 pages of “conceptual” language on the Internet.

They don’t want it on the Web and their reasoning is it would be confusing and we wouldn’t understand the wording — it’s in legal language (and we are not as intelligent as our Congress).

They can’t tell us what it looks like because they don’t know for sure.

“The American people are angry that Speaker Pelosi didn’t allow the public and their elected representatives to read the trillion-dollar ‘stimulus’ bill or the national energy tax before they were rammed through the House,” Minority Leader John Boehner, Ohio Republican, said Wednesday. “Congress can, and must, do better.”

He is concerned that the “health care bill” is being rammed through in the same way.   What is wrong with publishing the entire bill online? As someone said, “we’ve waited 25 years for health care, what’s three days more?”

Remember, Obama promised  “every bill” would be online! Why don’t we hear more about this broken promise? In the summer, Mrs. Pelosi said she would allow a 48-hour waiting period prior to bringing health care legislation up for a vote, but I don’t think that will happen either.

They can’t tell us how much it will cost because they don’t know. Now that the various healthcare plans are being finalized, the conclusion is becoming evident: The Obama plan is a giant tax increase for much of the American people (not just the rich). The elderly are going to be hit also.

What is the 256-page “conceptual” health care bill? Conceptual — pertaining to concepts or forming of concepts.  Let’s see — if you go to buy an automobile would you sign on the dotted line if you only viewed a conceptual design of it? If you have “no idea” of what it will cost you — would you sign on the dotted line?

Obama’s Nomination Of Chai Feldblum To The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

Obama has nominated far-left homosexual rights advocate Chai Feldblum to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) – a move that makes Congress’ new push to pass the anti-faith ENDA bill even more dangerous to the rights of Christians.

Consider this…

Not only is Feldblum a former legal counsel for the ACLU and the pro-homosexual Human Rights Campaign, she is a CO-AUTHOR of the ENDA bill that she could soon be enforcing!

And what is Feldblum’s agenda?

Incredibly, Feldblum says that when there is a conflict between religious freedom and homosexual rights, “…society should come down on the side of protecting identity liberty of LGBT people” (LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered).

In this view, YOUR religious beliefs will take second place to someone else’s desire for aberrant sexual activities or gender changes!

She opposed a case in which a Christian couple who owned a bed and breakfast in Vermont and who refused to participate in a same-sex union ceremony in their own home.

Feldblum stated: “Thus, for all my sympathy for the evangelical Christian couple who wish to run a bed and breakfast from which they can exclude unmarried straight couples and all gay couples, this is a point where I believe an inevitable choice between liberties must come into play. In making that choice, I believe society should come down on the side of protecting identity liberty of LGBT people.” Unbelievable!

In Feldblum’s desired workplace, Bob the receptionist can wear a dress and lipstick to work and designate his restroom of choice, yet the owner of the business – even a Christian business owner – will not be able to say a thing about it!

If this latest Obama nominee has her way, even the Boy Scouts would not be able to protect its young members from contact with openly homosexual leaders…

Feldblum is on record as saying that the Boy Scouts should not have won their case at the United States Supreme Court that affirmed their right to free association.

Feldblum and ENDA will put every employee, business owners and even churches and non-profit ministries on the wrong side of the law

The nomination of Chai Feldblum makes the ENDA battle in Congress even more critical. If she is confirmed and ENDA is passed, we should brace ourselves for the most radical, anti-faith interpretation of this bill that is even possible.

Obama’s nomination of Chai Feldblum is no accident. This is all part of a strategic plan to advance a radical, anti-faith, anti-marriage agenda.

Only the Left would even attempt to pass such a radical law and then give the architect of that law enforcement powers!

We have exposed their strategy. Now, we must stand.

Police and Military Train To Intern Swine Flu Vaccine Refusniks

Law enforcement and military personnel are training to set up checkpoints in order to catch people who refuse to take the swine flu vaccination according to whistle blowers, while health authorities are laying the groundwork for a mass vaccination campaign by warning that serious and potentially deadly health problems will be blamed on the H1N1 vaccine.

In a You Tube video, a woman soldier explains how she was part of a drill in California centered around setting up roadblocks and checkpoints so authorities could check who has received the swine flu vaccine. Those who have had the shots will be fitted with an RFID bracelet so they can be tracked. Those who have not taken the shot will be offered it there and then and if they still refuse, will be carted off to an internment camp, according to the soldier.

Former Kansas state trooper Greg Evensen underscored this claim back in July. “Have you been made aware of the massive roadblock plans to stop all travelers for a vaccine bracelet (stainless steel band with a micro-chip on board) that will force you to take the shot?” Evensen wrote on July 29. “Refuse it? You will be placed on a prison bus and taken to a quarantine camp. What will you do when your children are NOT allowed into school without the shot? What will you do when you are not allowed into the workplace without the vaccine paperwork? Buy groceries? Go to the bank? Shop anywhere?? Get on a plane, bus or train? Use the toilet in the mall? Nope. Police officers will become loathed, feared, despised and remembered for their ‘official’ duties.”

Gore-Backed Car Firm Gets Large U.S. Loan

A tiny car company (Fisker Automotive Inc.) backed by former Vice President Al Gore has just gotten a $529 million U.S. government loan to help build a hybrid sports car in Finland (The Karma) that will sell for about $89,000.

The award this week to California startup Fisker Automotive Inc. follows a $465 million government loan to Tesla Motors Inc., purveyors of a $109,000 British-built electric Roadster. Tesla is a California startup focusing on all-electric vehicles, with a number of celebrity endorsements that is backed by investors that have contributed to Democratic campaigns.

The awards to Fisker and Tesla have prompted concern from companies that have had their bids for loans rejected, and criticism from groups that question why vehicles aimed at the wealthiest customers are getting loans subsidized by taxpayers.

“This is not for average Americans,” said Leslie Paige, a spokeswoman for Citizens Against Government Waste, an anti-tax group in Washington. “This is for people to put something in their driveway that is a conversation piece. It’s status symbol thing.”

The Karma will target an exclusive audience — Gore was one of the first to sign up for one.

Fisker’s top investors include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a veteran Silicon Valley venture-capital firm of which Gore is a partner. Employees of KPCB have donated more than $2.2 million to political campaigns, mostly for Democrats, including Obama and Hillary Clinton, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks campaign contributions.
