Obama and Democratic lawmakers pledge bipartisanship, express their desire to reach across the isle and work with people of varying opinions and viewpoints, but what exactly does Obama mean by “bipartisanship?”
Does bipartisanship mean that one party votes for another party’s bill without some compromise from both parties?
The accusation being thrown at Republicans is that they are not willing to act in a bipartisdan manner, even though the Democrats are offering their hand to them, but in actuality that language does not match the reality of the situation.
Evidenced by the recent transgression against the truth, Obama has decided to launch a campaign to push legislators to approve an option for public healthcare utilizing a phone campaign.
On September 11th, the anniversary of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks, Organizing for America will kick off their phone campaign by urging members of community organization groups to call two lawmakers and tell them that they want health care now, they’re “mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.”
On September 11th, you need to call both your Senators and your Congressman and tell them that you are opposed to Obamacare and being labeled a Right Wing Terrorist for expressing your opinion!
On their website, Organizing for America likened centrists and conservatives who opposed the bill to terrorists, saying, “All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.”
Recently the community organization calling itself Health Care for America Now (HCAN), who’s primary members include trade unions and congressional committee organizations such as, ACORN, AFLCIO, SEIU, Howard Dean’s “Democracy for America” and the Congressional Black Caucus Health Brain Trust, has been caught on camera explaining how to disrupt Americans voicing concern at Town Hall meetings by telling their members to get up and speak over them, “stand up, chant healthcare now.”
HCAN is truly an “Astroturf” movement made up of Government affiliated unions, target groups created by US legislators to further their goals and even a group formed by the Democratic National Committee chairman himself.
In addition, why direct involvement of the Congressional Black Caucus, who forms target “Brain Trusts” to argue on behalf of their agenda, are allowed to lobby and protest in support of any legislation, is beyond the grasp of rational thought. Terms such as conflict of interest and ethically questionable behavior come to mind.
We don’t yet know how this debate will end, but there are certain to be many more indiscretions by the left and with the pressure on, many more opportunities for them to make additional public snafus that highlight their deception and hypocrisy.
